F1 2011

F1 2011 was released last week on the 23rd for the Xbox, Playstation 3 and PC (I haven't got it yet).
It recieved a good score from Gamespot with an 8.5/10 from the critics and 8.0/10 from the users, with a good 4/5 stars from the Telegraph and the Guardian, which came along with a nice 8.5/10 from IGN which matched it's predecessor which also got an 8.5.

This game is the latest of the Formula 1 video game series and, as expected, the best and most realistic so far.The reviews say that the cars are realistically accurate and the handling is great, the new Cooperative Career feature which has been added is fun to do with someone you know. Although they also include a downside to the game in the fact that it requires that the player has alot of knowledge about the actual sport which is not good for people who are new to the series/sport, they will need to spend alot of time learning about how the game works.

Like in F1 2010 the weather had a big impact on how you would play - e.g. if it was raining what type of tyres would you use etc. and it is the same in this game but now it involves the driver and not just the car because if it is raining then you can see it on your screen and it really looks like it gets in the way of your vision as you can see in the picture below.

Overall this game looks and sounds really fun to play and will keep the big F1 fans happy and all of the newcomers to the series may or may not enjoy it depending on if they are patient and if they want to learn to play the game.

Thanks for Reading

P.S. Realease of Fifa 12 tomorrow!!!! :D
